is xocai a scam?

Re: is xocai a scam?
The beverage itself is reported to be quite tasty, and chock-full of antioxidants. The health benefits are said to include greater energy, more restful sleep, relief from arthritic pain, reduced inflammation, and even aid in insulin regulation in diabetics. Considering the level of health of the average American, and with people living longer and longer, starting a business marketing what could be considered a "healthy vice" would seem to be a smart move.

Who claims these benefits?
The company? Any reserach studies to show that after consuming their products you have all these benefits?

Re: is xocai a scam?
By what other names is this known? That would help in researching the claims.

What you did while you walked the earth is far more important than how long you walked along.

This has been an interesting thread. I appreciate the discussion. Here's some information to digest.

Re: is xocai a scam?
I know research studies show benefits for those consuming dark chocolate.
What I have specifically asked for is research about people having actually consumed xocai and having the benefits claimed by the company. Any publications about that?

This site provides valuable information. Perhaps you could contact Dr. Warren to find the specific studies you seek. He is a great resource. http://www.patentedchocolateresearch.org/

Xocai is made from raw cacao. The studies are conducted on raw cacao.

Field research has shown in one case total cholesterol to drop from 215 to 139 in less than a year.

Another case study showed significant decrease of ADHD symptoms from drinking the 1 can of energy drink and eating 3 nuggets per day resulting in improved grades, social interactions, and attention in the classroom.

I have personally experienced significant decrease in joint pain when I eat the chocolate consistently. Also, I have improved mood and energy.

Here's a place initiating a formal study: http://utahhealthsciences.net/pageview.aspx?id=14515

Here's the study criteria for a study completed in 2008, but results are not available yet: http://adampaulgreen.com/clinical-studies-on-xocai/

Just curious, have you eaten the product? If so, for any length of time on a daily basis? If so, how long and how much did you consume? If so, what was your experience?
