The company's stated ORAC value is 70 per gram or 7000 per 100 grams. This is much lower than the actual foods the product is suppose to have in it. For example, the product has acia, goji and mangostein in it, all of which have much higher ORAC values than 7000. I like the idea of having several different fruits in one product, but if the final product has less ORAC units than the foods they are using, I'm not sure what value I am getting versus just making a smoothie.

The invention relates to antioxidants that make effective use of acerola seeds, which have conventionally been discarded, that have high safety and excellent antioxidative effect in skin preparations for external use, cosmetics, and food, and that contain acerola seed extract as an active component. The invention also relates to skin preparations for external use, cosmetics, and food containing the antioxidant.
