Protandim
I'm a distributor with LifeVantage the company that makes Protandim. While I know not everybody is a fan of network marketing companies, I think there is something here relative to ORAC ratings in foods and supplements apart of the Protandim story that is an important distinction, regardless of what you think of Protandim.

ORAC ratings measure the direct antioxidant power in the lab, but any of these chemical antioxidants still pales in comparison to the antioxidants made in the body that are catalyzing enzymes. These like Superoxide dismutase, Catalase, Glutathione, PON-1, and others, distroy free radicals at a rate of 1 molecule to 1 million free radicals every second, second after second, while any antioxidant we eat, is a 1:1 ration, where those antioxidants are destroyed in the process. Protandim has the claim (and science to back it up), that it increases those enzymes in the body naturally, and works in everybody who takes it.

I wonder what the ORAC rating of SOD, CAT and GSH-px is, because I bet its off the charts to the extreme.

I know Protandim has been mentioned before on these forums, I think its something to revisit with valid sources of reference. Yes PubMed is one, there are others.
