Flavonoids vs Antioxidants
Three of the highest flavonoid rich foods (dark chocolate, Green Tea, and Red Wine) are very far apart in terms of ORAC scores for antioxidants. I can't believe the difference between Dark Chocolate and Green Tea. I wonder what the ORAC score would be for the green tea in the tea bag that ISN'T brewed since heat destroys antioxidants.

Does anyone know if there's an ORAC Score type of scoring for Flavonoid values in foods??? I'd be really curious to see this b/c as far as I know, flavonoids and antioxidants are 2 different things. For instance, antioxidants won't lower your blood pressure and lower your cholesterol but flavonoids will. I don't know...maybe antioxidants can affect cholesterol...but it can't affect blood pressure...especially shortly after ingestion like happens with super rich flavonoid foods will. Both obviously fight free radicals and cancer.
